Try splinting it and moving it out of strong sun.

You may need to remove all the fruits and it may be beneficial to spray the leaves with water once per day on days when it doesn't rain, in the hope that the leaves will absorb a small amount of water and take some of the strain off the impaired sapflow.

There is still a chance to save it, but action must be taken by the end of tomorrow for the best chance because, like when humans have body parts re-joined, there is a limited amount of time before it will not be successful. Putting up a picture as soon as possible would help decide what could be done for the best.

Just to add a bit to what's already been suggested.

Push the parts together as firmly as you can, trying to match the broken ends. Then smear the outside of the trunk with vaseline and use ptfe-type tape (the white stretchy stuff plumbers use) to seal the joint/break. Wrap it round the trunk a lot of times as tightly as you can. You can also wrap it round the outside of the splints to hold them in place, it'll help stop them chafing.

If you can't get any ptfe tape then you can use a long strip of fabric plaster - the stuff that comes on rolls that's used for holding wound dressing in place, that doesn't have the dressing bit.

Assuming the tree is in a container, and you can manage to move it, try putting the tree somewhere that gets as much shade as possible. You could also wrap it in fleece, to help cut down transpiration.

Thank you, it;s in the ground but I should manage to try tomorrow, have plenty of ptfe tape!
