    Avatar photos: what's going on in them?

    My eye has been drawn to Baldy's avatar photo. Perhaps it's an advert for Fisherman's Friend lozenges:they're not as old-fashioned as you might think, after all said fisherman has a tablet.

    No idea what it's about but I think I (you) should be told.

    My avatar is a cauliflower wearing a pair of my reading glasses. It seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

    ^^^LOL I was curious about Baldys avatar, what makes it worse I didn't realise your cauly had glasses till you said. I wish you could click on them and enlarge them. Mine is just a stray chicken I took in and who hasn't left

        I often try and peer at the pics to try and make them out - you should definitely be able to enlarge them!

        Mine is just me... at a wedding last year!

            On "some other forum" I used to use photo's of dear old Terry Thomas that I'd change on a whim or with the changing of the seasons. There's a long and mostly tedious explanation for that which I'll save you from

            I was thinking its rather nice to see a rough approximation of the person in their avatar though, so thought I'd put a picture of 'me' up. I wore that get-up for New Year's Eve - its a bit of a tradition in these parts to wear fancy dress. I'll let you know who I'm lookie-likey at some point further in this thread. Hopefully no one would recognise me as I go about my daily business
