Where does everyone buy there pots? We are looking for some large containers that don't cost the earth. The bigger the better really but I can't seem to find any that won't bankrupt us lol.

Depends on what size your looking for. If you think about the black buckets you see cut flowers in Tesco sell them brand new last year the were 99p for 8, all you need to do is put drainage holes in the bottom.
Depending on where you live you may well even be able to scrounge some.Potty by name Potty by nature.

I've found for really big pots local garden centres are the cheapest places but if your wanting flower buckets etc ask after valentines day at Asda/Tesco/Sainsbury's I got a load free right after mothers day coz they had thousands. Wilkos or pound shops (if there's any in your area with it being so upmarket) are good options for smaller pots.

Haha, stuck up more like I stand out like a sore thumb. There is no Wilkes in Scotland at all, something I miss they were great bargain shops. May have a Photoshop in one of the cities, thanks.

Depending on what you are looking to grow, tyres are a free and very useful way of getting large planters. I grow strawberries (4 tyres at bottom and 1 on top) to hold 10 plants per construction, cucumbers, squash, parsnip. I know you can use them for spuds,
If that is the kind of plant you are thinking about go to a garage that does tyres and beg a bit, We got all of ours for free and this year the plan is to paint them nice bright colours.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison
