Here is an easy way to remember your N:P:K's folks....
' Leave Rotten Fruits'
= Leaf ; Root ; Fruit ( and therefore Flowers)..it sort of sounds similar!!!
Therefore :-
N = leaf
P = root
K = fruit
It really helps to work out which packet of fertilizer to pick up if you can remember which bit of the plant you are trying to encourage to grow!
Flowering lawns , leafy carrots and and fruitless tomatoes is NOT the way to learn!!
ETA: N = Nitrogen, P = Phosphorus, K = Potassium
