  • Coffee grounds

Hi. Newbie question I suppose. I ha e the opportunity to have a quite regular supply of coffee grounds as my store has a cafe which generates them daily. I have read that they are a good conditioner and was wondering what I should be doing with them and how often. Thanks in advance.....

Some research says that the caffeine in uncomposted coffee grounds acts as a growth inhibitor, so it might be worth trialling it in different spots before you fling it everywhere.

I've never found it to work against slugs as is often suggested, so I go down the: "it's organic, chuck it on the compost heap" route.
