they are starting to loose their baby feathers now too, so hopefully in the next week or 2 i'll find out what colour they are gonna finally be, coco's new feathers seem to be a rich dark brown colour on his back, so he might have some copper black marans in him

Awwwwwww!! They are well cute. Would love to have some babies this year, but with the animals and kids in my house, chicks would never survive.

yeah it's ok when they are all sleeping with their bums over the playpen, otherwise i have to put newspaper down .... chickens really do poo in their sleep
i'll be glad when they get all their proper feathers though, they are looking pretty moth eaten at the moment.Comment
