Well, the lights are new anyway. I 'inherited' a monster concrete cold frame base in my tiny garden - didn't even know what it was until the landlord scrounged up the pitiful remains of one of the old lights. Having winter in March has been excellent motivation to build new improved lights and get the cold frame back into service. So here 'tis, before, after, and starting to fill up. It's now housing three kinds of peas, mixed lettuce, spinach, rocket, sweet peas, a chocolate mint and two chocolate cosmos (probably dead) that never got planted last year, and the thyme I bought in a fit of optimism just before it started snowing.
