Are there any that you can fit 2 seed trays into? They all seem standard seed tray size which means I need more than one.

I have 2 .... a large one and one that takes 7 small trays with lids

you dont have to use all seven trays at the same time...

its a Garland and was bought from my local garden centre:

I prefer the larger Garland though .... you can add as many smaller trays as you need

The Garland 7 is the one I also use. Very useful for multiple sowings.

I have a couple of Sankey propagators that take 4 x half trays and a few pots as well - so they should take 2 full size trays easily. Something like these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sankey-52-Pr...sxp_grid_i_0_1

I have a large one, but I don't use it because it doesn't fit on my windowsills (and it needs to be in the light).

So, I have two smaller ones.

I managed with one for a few years, and still could ~ you only need it for germination, once the seedlings are up you take them out and put them in cooler conditions.

I got a giant one from ebay a few years ago , I would have been better with many small ones!, many small would have cost less, and been easier to use

Large ones are great for lots of one thing but too hard to control conditions for different plants

I got this one, Not sure if its the same seller or not but its the same item

Getting enough light was not a problem for me as I had it under 400W CFL bulb , getting it near a window was impossible

I have a large Sankey one. Still going strong after nearly 15 years of use. It fits a couple of large seed trays and a few small pots around the edges. I live in an old house very deep windowsills so it works great for me.
