Get a pen to write on the bits and take photos.
Get bags for the little parts and be careful with the glass.

For stability I would definitely recommend a base. Something with anchor legs which can be concreted in is ideal like this --> Halls metal greenhouse base 8ft x 12ft (2560mm x 3804mm) - The Greenhouse People

Great bargain though, you're very lucky.

                          I concur!

And double and triple check what kind of base it's on.

I was lucky enough to be offered a greenhouse from freecycle and although I asked and was told it was just 'standing on slabs' when we got there (we being me, OH, Mum and Dad) it was cemented in!

Fortunately for me my sister was visiting my parent's house and she super-very-kindly located and dropped off my Dad's mini Kango breaker to us!

For me it was well worth it and a 12x8 GH for £100 delivered really does sound like a bargain!

Some of the things we took/did:

Plenty of newspaper to wrap the glass in (helps protect it and if a piece does break it's better contained!)
                          Gloves
                          Spanner set and pliers
                          WD40
Used masking tape as a label on each piece of glass/piece of frame with a number on to show where it went (shame I lost the bit of paper with corresponding pic of the greenhouse! )
                          Took LOADS of photos
                          Plasters and antiseptic cream!

And possibly most importantly took a few helping hands and took them out to lunch after dismantling it!

When it comes to re-assembling the most important thing is getting the base flat and square (or rectangular!) as it makes everything else sooooooooooooo much easier afterwards!

                          I'd say go for it!

Absolutely agree. Time to call in those favours!

Its a bargain Darcy! Do you know how its going to be delivered - if the owner has a large van, you may not need to dismantle it completely, but keep the sides and roof intact.
Most greenhouses fit together in the same way. Do you know what make it is? If you can find out you may be able to find assembly instructions on the web.

There are more threads but this will give you an idea of what's involved!
