My take on a bunching carrot is a carrot that can be sown early, not thinned, can be picked in a bunch, matures quickly and is best suited to eating raw, unpeeled in salads etc Sow little and often for a succession! My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

Be warned that, grown in this way, some roots may be smaller than others, and some may become entwined. It is an efficient way of growing carrots, but you won't necessarily get the most aesthetic results.
I do it, but I thin a little because I find traditional long roots do not push each other apart very well. Globe shaped carrots can do this better, given enough room.
