  • Can somebody please confirm these are weeds?

Still very new to this game and having trouble telling the difference between plants and weeds

Also, forgot to note what I sowed in the bed. I can see lettuce and beetroot but don't recognise these in the photos. I'm assuming they're weeds and not something I've sown and forgotten about but thought I'd better ask you experts before I pull them out...

The first one is in a jerusalem artichoke bed and is as tall as the JAs so could only be a different looking JA or a weed. The second one....well, I should probably start taking notes on what I sow and not trust my memory

Yes, these are weeds: Fat hen. Unless you plan to eat them of course, in which case they are vegetables.

They both look like the same family - Chenopodia ?sp.

The first one looks like Fat Hen and the second could be a tree spinach? ( or a young fat hen - those were the days )

Definitely didn't sow any of that so if it is then it's still unwanted

I seem to get flushes of it growing on my plot, couple of years ago plot nextdoor but 1 let a plant go to seed.

Sometimes I eat it, mostly I hoe it off
