in the last few weeks, we:
- finished pulling up the long tall weeds
- gave the whole plot 2 treatments of roundup
- dug over a 9ft x 10ft patch
another plotholder put some white powder on a wasps nest in the ground

picked up a van load of timber from freecycle - mostly 4x2 floor joists and tongue and groove floorboards - i've been making plans for a shed for the allotment and started cutting it - not quite enough 4x2 to make the whole frame, but can get some more - no idea if there's enough floorboards to clad it, but can use slats from pallets ......

also i've picked up a load of winemaking gear - been reading up on winemaking and started gathering fruit .....

and been picking veggies at home ..... and started sowing stuff to plant out at home and on the allotment over the winter .........
