Im slightly confussed by the purpose of this thread!
By slightly I mean very!!!!
I will be sowing my seeds in wilkos compost 99p for 15lts I sieve then and thing to big gets put in the very bottom of the pot to aid drainage then the fine stuff on top giving the seeds easy access to push through at 99p for 15 lts even if i have to buy two packets of seed to get a full pack to germinate its alot cheaper than paying the £8.99 for a bag of 20lt advitised compostLast edited by darcyvuqua; 01-02-2013, 09:41 PM.In the following link you can follow my recent progress on the plot

Snadge, the biochar doesn't add N:P:K, if my understanding of it is right, something to do with the structure of it encourage beneficial soil microbes I think? I'm posting from my phone or I'd find you the website that I got my info from. Tomorrow

Oh come on peeps lets at least give our new member the benefit of the doubt, the forums are sponsored by the magazine, the magazine is (at least in part) sponsored by advertisers,if those advertisers can add useful input to the forums so much the better for us.He who smiles in the face of adversity, has already decided who to blame

Well, we are almost 40 posts on, my query has still not been answered by the expert so I think I will stick with the vines own experts as they have not failed me in the past.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

Hi Carbon Gold
As you can see from the response to your initial post - and I'm sure through an admin glitch - it would have been a appreciated by the Vine if you had been 'introduced' first rather that just let loose on here! I'm afraid that I was one of those who saw your post as blatent advertising and complained to the mods.
Now that your input has been explained, I would hope that we would all give you the 'benefit of the doubt' as to your usefulness! As has been pointed out in the previous posts, we are going to ask you to justify your 'expert' status and to verify any woolley statistic, I think, and I would hope that we will all give you a fair hearing!
Also, if you were a person who we could relate to, rather than a company entity, and if you 'joined in' you would be seen to want to be part of the community rather that just an advertiser with a back-stage pass, I think.
I've no thoughts on your product as I haven't researched it sufficiently - I'm a New Horizons fan (woody as it might be) for any seeds (mostly pea and bean) which seem to do alright in their pots until planted out - mind you, the slug damage at that point is another matter entirely...Last edited by Hazel at the Hill; 02-02-2013, 12:22 AM.

Outside of their forum they can only reply to posts, and are not allowed to advertise their product(s) So yes, it'd be great to welcome them as part of the community.
