So two and a half of your trees to make a tonne of biochar but to be fair, I would think that a tonne of biochar would go a long way.

That tree would supply enough logs to keep my wood burner going all day for 3 months,giving heat in the living room & about 6 "builders" buckets of ash to put on the veg patch & fruit cage

2.5 ash trees = 1 tonne of bio char = 1000 kgs or bags of "sugar".

Ash is actually a good tree for logging,it burns as well in its "green" state as it does when seasoned

CHERRY logs across the dogs, smell like flowers in bloom.

POPULAR logs the "matchstick" wood, left to thoroughly dry; will make the best kindling to light your fire by.

But ASH logs, so smooth and grey, burn them green or old
