growing vegetables directly in compost

I am about to order a bulk of compost (Well Rotted Farmyard Manure and Spent Mushroom Compost Blend from farmyard-manure-and-mushroom-compost.co.uk) and I just wondered if I can use it to fill my beds and plant or sow my vegetables direclty?
