Now then....how can you get a bottle across here for me to have a taste (purely for quality control you understand) .
Well, it hasn't actually got as far as the bottle yet - that was supposed to be tonight's job. I'm jus' dipping the glass into the bucket of finished wine.

Did you do a big bucket or a wee one? If it is a big bucket, you ought to use a sterilised 'dipper' or you will introduce bacteria into the wine. However, I made a 30 bottle kit of chardonnay for crimbo and I cba bottling it so I take a jug straight from the diswasher (and a funnel), and scoop the wine from the bucket into the funnel (which has been put in the top of the bottle which is nearing empty) and put the now full bottle back in the fridge. My theory is it is only me consuming the end product. usually I do the whole sterilising, siphoning thing and give away most of the wine but I decided this time it was just for me so personally I don't think it is bad CHEEERS!!!!
I know that it's only from a Wilko cheapo kit, but it's clear, it tastes ok, and it is definately alcofrolic.....
Just had a virtual sip Hazel.............not bad, Cabernet is my favourite though!
I, like you, once had a European Parsnip mountain and made gallons and gallons of wine ,six I think!
From what I remember from my drunken stuppor, I had problems clearing the wine? Just make sure you don't sqeeze the must, just let it filter through your muslin without wringing it out or you'll get cloudy wine!

I'm a bit worried about that - typical to have a bit of a tricky one to start with!
