I thought I'd share this website with you which I've just found and will be using to create Elderberry Schnapps in addition to my own rather special Vanilla Blackberry Gin which I make for Xmas and to give away!
I've had a huge number of blackberries this year and an elder has grown at a level for a shortie like me to be able to harvest the now ripe berries. It seem such a shame to waste them so I'm going to harvest and use before cutting down as its growing very much in the wrong place.
