Does anybody know if ornamental cherry blossom can be used for brewing purposes? We have loads of it in the back garden and it would be nice to make use of it before it throws itself all over the garden

I always found that blossoms with no scent didn't add anything at all to a brew. Cherry or red hawthorn are a bit of a waste of DNA in brewing terms in my opinion.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
