Boston cream

My Gran usd to make us a frothy drink called Boston Cream when we were kids. I just googled it to see if such a drink actually exists and to make sure it wasn't just one of my Grans 'made up' concoctions/names.

Now I've found the recipe I may give it a try!

So thats what it is!, it's an old recipe for cream soda but without the toast+ yeast for the overnight stage......I too had heard it mentioned obliquely by people who had heard of of from their Grannies but did'nt know what it was......
