Oh dear- my first explosion! 1 bottle of elderflower wine all over walls and floor!! Cottage smells lovely though-just a bit worried about the next 4 bottles!!

separate them and put them somewhere cooler. once had a full crate of bottle conditioned beer go off first one initiated a chain reaction i think, was like 4th july!! -
All mine went bang - luckily they were outside. I was letting a bit of gas out every other day - then we went on hols for a week, came back, shredded plastic bottles all over the lawn!Comment

We used to get big bangs regularly when we were kids. Mum had a pantry with a marble shelf and lots of space underneath. The space was where she used to keep the saucepans and the fermenting wine, ginger beer etc. When they used to blow the corks they used to hit the underside of the marble shelf and rebound into the saucepans - it used to sound like world war threeComment
