  • E-Z caps

i ordered some of these e-z caps, just for beginners i think. you seem to just add sugar and a very small amount of yeast to a standard 2ltr fizzy pop bottle, add 2ltrs of grape juice and leave it for a week with the e-z cap on. then supposedly you'll have wine!

its been going for 6 days now and although the bottle is rock hard, there doesn't seem to be many bubbles at the top.

As i've never made wine before - i was wondering if anyone had tried these?

For the price of those you'd have been better buying a demijohn from wilkinsons. That is pretty much all they are, a stopper for a 2 litre Heath Robinson demijohn.

You'll have something, but it won't be wine
I've made fruit juice wines before, and they aren't that nice, tbh. Best mixed into a punch.

Some fruit juice wines can be lovely. I will dig out a recipe link later for those who want to try a guaranteed one.
