My husband makes a brill damson wine from our crop in the garden, the tree must be all of 50 years old and this year had the best crop for years. Messy job tho. but my young son loved that bit!

I have been given approx 20lb of damsons, some ripe some half ripe and some green, Can I use these to make wine ?.
