My OH decide to try the ginger beer recipe posted on here. However, we're at the stage where the plant should be ready and we're to add the liquid to make the drink. But what should it look like at this stage? It just looks like a bit of sludge at the bottom of muddy water. I expected something fronthy, because of the yeast?
