I've been in East Dorset for 26 years but can't think where there are any elderflowers. We are into wine making again and I would love to try this. Anyone my way who can point me in the right direction? PS my cousin always used to call elderflowers 'scabs' anyone else call them this?A weed is a plant that has mastered every survival skill except for learning how to grow in rows

On the lookout for some further away from a road
I don't bat on about being frugal, I do take care in where we shop though

Elderflowers out here too (I've counted the heads Chris and I'll know if any go missing )
Here are some more recipes for you to try Recipes: elder | Hedgerow Harvest | Food for Free | Healthy Eating | Local Food | Community Orchards | Foraging . I'm sure I've eaten elderflowers straight from the bush, like a lollipop. Anyone else do that?

Would like to meet you though, and have a nose at your tunnel
I've a mad rush to sort my stuff out before we go so my neighbours can collect eggs/check on chooks. Beans to plant before I go too, argh !
VC, yes it'd be good to be shown the best spots in the woodsLast edited by chris; 01-06-2012, 10:03 PM.
