my local has an offer of buy 3 bottles of wine get the cheepest free. I picked up 3 bottles and the cashier noticed that one of the bottles was coming up at £2.49 when it was usually around £6 Can't resist a bargain so bought 6 bottles at a total cost of £9.98. Unfortunately it is foul

does anyone have any recipies for flavoring white wine? I remember my dad used to make a baileys type drink from cheap home made wine but he can't remember the recipe.

You can use if for cooking, several casserole recipes can be improved by adding white wine - it goes with lamb, chicken and fish. Otherwise, if you want to drink it do as carlseawolf says and maybe add orange juice, soda or lemonade, orange and apple slices, and perhaps some spirit to give it a kick.

        cheap white wine

If the wine is foul take it back, including the empty taster bottle. You will get a refund and then you can buy one that you like.
I would be as surprised as the supermarket if the wine was foul rather than not to your taste. The supers spend a lot of money tasting and selecting stuff to sell. They would want to know if it is as bad as you say.
I have no liking or connection with any supermarket by the way.
If however you had made the wine I agree with all the doctoring techniques mentioned before. Like the idea of dilute with a fruit juice then add vodka (or freeze).
