Marmite is an excellent yeast nutrient, should help fermentation along nicely, although I fear it may taste of old sweaty jock straps.

It sounds VERY interesting if you've drunk the lot in 2 days! Perhaps you had to keep trying it to find an appropriate adjective to describe it. I have that problem with a bottle of red sometimes!Comment

OK. Another suggestion...
Would Bouillon wine work? The packet says reduced salt, so I assume it won't have huge quantities and mess up the yeast.
I'll try this next week alongside the chilli wine and ginger wine.Comment
