I've got some elderflower cordial to bottle up (to sell at a craft fair). I've some little swing top bottles. Can they be sterilised in the dishwasher?

I have done it before, but cordial doesn't seem to keep too long (as I'm sure you know!)
I took the rubber bit off the flip top, and poured boiling water on that, then re-seated it whilst it was still warm, and the bottle hot from the dishwasher (just was easier to do when more flexible).

Just have done a bit of research. Somewhere I read 68C for <can't remember how many> minutes will kill all known bacteria.
Wikipedia says dishwasher aren't hot enough (mine runs at 75C on intensive).. various books I have at home say they're fine.
I tend to use an oven @ 100C for jam jars - usually in there for 10 mins odd I've never had any spoil... but for short term stuff the dishwasher has worked for me too.
