    Booze For Free, Andy Hamilton

I've just had this from the library, and found it a jolly good read. It's very entertaining, has a sprinkling of growing advice, new takes on old recipes (inc. how to make beetroot wine drinkable!), a few surprises (Marmite Wine, "prisoner's" wine, plenty of wines from common weeds).

There're lots of beer and cider recipes too, and unlike CJJ Berry, all these recipes have been made & tested.

It's a really good addition to the winemaking bookshelf.

OH got it for Christmas, good isn't it

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Chris got it too, it was his recommendation before it was mine. It's great, I loved it. Little bit sweary in places, but down to earth

Just noticed this after the bump, yep it's a great book. His elderflower champagne method has a slight mistake in it - saying take 8l of water, boil half of it - then neglects to say add the rest of it. Might be the wording, but it made me do a double take!
