Sounds like you've made a strong brew which potato wine is famous for. When you think that the Irish potcheen - one of the strongest alcoholic drinks in the world (so they say!) was made from potatoes then that says it all. I made some years ago, two glasses of it and everyone was legless, so go steady with it
