    Mind if I ask what you mean by fruit tea bag? I've been layering my bin with muslin before putting the fruit in for primary fermenting. Not sure why, maybe it was a youtube clip I saw. Think it saves on straining it into the demijohn as I just lift the 'bag' out and give it a squeeze. Is that what you mean? Would I better to not use the muslin from the beginning?

    Get yourself a copy of this A Step by Step Guide to Making Homemade Wine: Amazon.co.uk: Judith Irwin: Books from your library, it's the best one I've used. Lots of ideas for cheap one, good ones, award winning ones, using varied ingredients (even coffee and tea).

    Love a good recommendation, thanks I'll check it out.

    ime, fruit juice wines have been awful ~ thin and nasty tasting
