Well done BL. We have two grape vines and usually put the plentiful harvest through the juicer to make (non-alcoholic) grape juice. But this year I'm sure I pruned the vines too late and so the grapes are still growing now and won't lead to anything worthwhile. Enjoy your bounty - you've done briiliantly by the sound of it. :-)

I've had reasonable success this year and currently have the following either in demis or bottles:
- Blackberry, Blackcurrant, Elderflower, Gooseberry (foraged)
- Plum, Pear, Rhubarb (shop-bought fruit)
Elderberry should've been on this list but some fat pigeons got to the bushes before me!
The Rhubarb is particularly fine and i suspect will mature well.Last edited by ldsau93; 29-09-2015, 06:01 PM.

Blackcurrant and grape (from frozen fruit) - came out a medium to dry rose, very popular with the son-in-law, I bottled in August, stocks down from 17 to 10 bottles!
Blackberry (cleared but not bottled)
Apple (cleared but not bottled)
Grape (only put on last week)
Also peach vodka, cherry liqueur, apricot brandy and sloe gin.
Lager and brown ale from kits on the go too.I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
Now a little Shrinking Violet.
