        Thanks for the Like SP.
Sadly I only have 2 chillies on my chilli plant this year, after I dehydrate them I'll have about 0.001gm of cayenne. Maybe I should add it to last years 6 saffron stamens I harvested?

        I feel decidedly chilli challenged

At long last the kitchen is a reasonable temperature. Today was my first ever attempt at sweet pickled cucumber slices.(Delia's recipe). I've never had a glut of cucumbers before this year. I've already got 4 large bags of slow roast tomatoes in the freezer. I think blackberry jelly is next.

Here you go Trip. I found the jalapeño sauce to taste mostly of vinegar!

I've now done 2 more bags of slow roast tomatoes for the freezer, strawberry jam and I'm now going to make mint jelly with the windfall Bramley apples I put through a jelly bag last night.
