Ooh Sorry - was it really THAT ages ago? Just goes to show how time flies when you're 'having fun' (not!)

So I DOUBLY apologise. Thank you......X?

If I manage a rosette at all (Bream Show is DEAD SERIOUS STUFF, been going for the last 142 years, even kept it going through the war you know....) so don't hold your breath or nuffing lass?

I'll do my Wellie-Best, as you'd expect of me.

Apples have high pectin content. I wouldn't dream of making jam without adding a couple of apples.

Oh, Okay.... that's great Vecten, thank you.

You see, there's not that many recipes out there for us Cape Gooseberry growers to concentrate our harvests into on the preserving front for this particular fruit, and, yes, I do suppose that I got rather 'carried away' and wanted to turn them into something rather than nothing.

If my jam wins no prizes at any Show at all, I am hugely happy with it in its' present form (and clearly, so are my friends thankfully, who it was made for in the first place?)

        Thank you.
I shall do my best when I'm up for 'Show Time', and, who knows, eh?
