Lakeland's have a jam maker for sale, they are quite expensive at £79.99 but you seem to just pop the stuff in and wait and out comes perfect jam.

Has anyone tried them?

no, but i'm going to try making some in my bread maker (when/if i ever get some fruit), seems a lot of money to make just jam, when you can get a bread maker for less that does jam too.

i'm with linda its a lot of money - at least 12 bottles of wine!!!!!! - i just use a big pan and a thermometer and its really easy & believe me i'm no fan of the kitchen (OH cooks all the meals )

Hi all, Yes, I did know you could make it in a breadmaker, but how much can you make in there at a time, I want to be able to make about 3-4lb and as you can see from my other thread I am having a few problems and it would be so nice to chuck it in and forget about it.

I am hoping that perhaps they might go down in price in a few months time, as I agree they are very expensive for what they are.
