Good deal on nice jars

I was just about to buy some 1lb jars on eBay (63p each) when I thought 'this is madness' ... Tesco sell 1lb of Basic Pickled Onions for 31p.

So I might buy loads of them, throw out the onions and replace with my own onions.

No, that's madness too, arrrggghh!

I just bought these lids at 17p each, with a view to fitting them on my own jars (not that I've saved any, duh)
