I have just made my forst batch of seville marmalade, and it tastes yummy, however it was still a liquid-ish state as i poured it into the jars, i did the wrinkle test and it wrinkled away, will it go into a more solid state (like what is in the shops) overnight???

It's very hot when you pour it - it does set more when it cools. The only way to tell really though, is to wait! If you're not really happy then, you can always scoop it out of the jars and boil it a bit more. If it passed the wrinkle test though, it'll probably be ok.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.

As long as the wrinkle test worked then you'll definitely be okay. I agree with Flummery that it's definitely better to be a little underset. Last year I made the fatal error of leaving my plum jam on to boil too much as I thought it wasn't setting. It ended up setting like concrete, and if I wanted to use it I had to chisel some out and add boiling water to it just so I could spread it on my toast! Have since invested in a thermometer!
