Froze the rest of my spouts a couple of weeks ago. Before the pigeons finished them all off! Lesson learned - net the sprouts! I blanched my sprouts, then put them in to cold water and then into ice water. They've kept their colour beatifully and we tried them out the other day... they taste really mustardy! Not unpleasant at all but totally unexpected. Has anyone else experienced this? I know sprouts are related to mustards but..!
