I made a huge batch of pickled courgettes the other day...WAS really proud of myself as I just don't seem to be able to find the enthusiasm for doing anything with regards preparing/preserving stuff this year.
However,just realised I forgot to add the sugar & they really don't taste very nice without it.Should I be able to tip the lot in a pan...strain out the courgettes and then add/dissolve the sugar or is it a wasted batch?
I did them on Saturday.
