hi, am going to make rhubarb and ginger jam tonight, have jars here ready to sterilise, whats the best way to do this, any advice welcome. was goin to put them in the oven on low heat, will that do the trick ???

Great - I've got a big bag of Rhubarb in the freezer from last year. Can't decide what to do with it! WE don't eat a lot of jam, so I was going down the alcohol route, but haven't got round to it. I put them in the oven too - it means they are well hot when you pour hot jam into them. No cracking!Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
