have just made the microwave jam from the good food mag,but it seems very watery,
should i boil it to death and hope it sets or just abandon it as a bad job?
I do not know what your recipe requires Carol but I always make jam in the microwave. Yes, if it is still runny reheat in the microwave until the usual setting test is acquired.
Carol, I use any recipe but instead of using a saucepan I use a large pyrex bowl. Maybe the only hint I can give is to sweat the fruit to soft before adding sugar.
