In the River Cottage Handbook Preserves, there's a recipe for "Nasturtium capers" that I would really like to try. The problem is managing to collect 100gm of nasturtium seed pods at one time. Would it work if I made the brine, filled a jar with it, and then added the seed pods as they came along?

I think you are meant to do this in the autumn when you'll have hundreds of nasturtium seeds all over the place! -
