    I have found out how to make blackcurrant syrup!!!
    After my disaster a few days ago with the jelly bag i have found out how to make blackcurrant syrup, it was an accident though! I was trying to make jam when i found out it didnt set, then i saw that i used far to much water!!!

    Blackcurrrant syrup recipe!
    300g Blackcurrants
    750ml water
    preserving/jam sugar to taste

    Boil the blackcurrants 'till soft with thye water and then add the sugar. leave until completly cool,then bottle up into sterilied bottles/jars. Or you could sieve it t get the bits out, but as i am using it on youghurt it wont matter!

    Sounds good but you will need to sterilise it or it won't keep. It will probably ferment and then the bottles will explode! MESSY
