Loads of green tomatoes which have to be harvested soon (moving house soon). Any ideas how they can be used?

Yes depending on the recipe it can be quite nice. Try the one I posted last year in Season to Taste - Special Green Tomato Chutney. Seems to have been a hit with many grapes and it always goes down well in our house.Bright Blessings

Have to say EB - your recipe is my favourite again this year - didn't wait for my toms to ripen, got stuck in big style with your recipe - lots of super tasting green tomato chutney for me, family and friends again this year! (hopefully won't run out this time!) BernieBernie aka DDL

I made this the other day, not sure what the other recipe is as I am rather new to the forum but this chutney is really nice

As mentioned by terrier you should be able to ripen them - I've had a few green toms which have broken free of the plant in a bid for escape! Wrap them gently in newspaper, pop in a drawer and within a few days they should be ripe“The secret of happiness is not in doing what one likes, but in liking what one does.”
