  • Over grown beans

We have lots of green beans which are a bit too far gone to eat whole as a veg, nit enough to dry and keep as beans. Basically, very knobbly french beans.

I was thinking of using them in a hearty veg soup with cannelini beans or such

    Any other suggestions?

I ended up shelling them, cut up a few thinner pods into chunks and made a sort of stew with onions, garlic, peppers and tomatoes with ras el hanout.

Having it with lamb chops, garlic spinach and couscous (or possibly spuds).
        It smells heavenly!
