Bacon, black pudding, egg, mixed baked beans & chilli sauce.

Black pudding here too SP - with leeks, black kale and a duck egg. Served with potato cakes.

Lunch: rabbit in a Middle-Eastern style, rice for Mr Snoop and veg. Sautéed cabbage with ras el-hanout, probably. These cabbages are never-ending.

Supper:carrot and apple soup.

Bread rolls.

Bought the eggs from a garden centre of all places, they're nice and fresh with huge dark orange yolks.

No cooking for me tonight either, daughter is making Pad Thai before she flies off to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow on an open ended back-packing trip.

Today we went food shopping (took sister in law and brother in law who are both in their 80s and need a bit of help) so came home with lots of choice.
Settled on roast chicken, roast parsnips, mashed potatoes and swede, carrots and Savoy cabbage and gravy.

Lunch: lentil soup.
Supper: courgette and feta filo pie.

Bread rolls and start off an overnight Ken Forkish bread recipe. Made his 40% wholemeal loaf the other day. Absolutely fantastic.

I was sitting her earlier wondering what on earth I was going to make when "Eureka" I remembered I had the other half of yesterdays chicken in the fridge. So it will be cold roast chicken, salads (probably avocado, tomato and rocket salad and Waldorf salad), chips for my husband and garlic bread for me.

We are dieting. Vegetable broth (cooking at the moment) and home made apple something (crumble or eve's pudding) with custard .
