Mushroom and broccoli risotto using bulgar wheat and cauliflower rice instead of normal rice.
Grapes and clementines for pud.

Last night bulgar with frozen pepper, onion, garlic, peas, mint, halloumi and sun dried toms.
Not sure yet for tonight.

We're off out down the valley for supper. Taking cava and red, but they don't need cooking, so that's good.

Mr Snoop did lunch: a frozen pizza that was weird. Convenient, but weird (some kind of BBQ topping but so sloppy with sauce the base couldn't possibly cook).

Steak butty with a creamy mushroom sauce, and a couple of glasses of fizz - followed by homemade trifle.

Tuna Nicoise salad with Basil and Tomato couscous and Coleslaw.
Yes, they were yellow stickered.

Fish and chips.
Treated ourselves on the way home from mass.

Mushroom, ham and cheese omelette, a few chips and rocket, tomato and avocado salad.

Start of the buffet type food - Confit goose legs, Parma ham, mozzarella, Tomato and sun dried tomatoes, roasted beetroots, roasted pepper and garlic, green salad with French beans, olives, aubergine stew. Home made focaccia....and one or two glasses of fizz

We have our celebrations on Christmas Eve. Family came round for a traditional German dinner of bratwurst and potato salad and sourdough bread followed by a gateau made by my daughter - and plenty of gluwein.

Went to a friend's hybrid German/British Christmas Eve tonight, less traditional food but did involve dark bread which was good.

We're on for nibbles, salmon and veg plus Christmas pud and cream.

Edited to add: nice bottle of local white for with the meal and a fantastic Pedro Ximenez sherry to go with pud.
