Not to dissimilar to me Nicos, we had stuffed pork chops and colcannon. I used the last of my curly kale to make my colcannon, the only thing I didn’t add was the onion in melted butter.

          • Sorry to say but I’m enjoying this lockdown
We’re having take away tonight & it’s being delivered!!
That would never happen under normal circumstances.

It's very soft, more of a pudding than a cake. Really good. There are three of us here for most meals now. We polished the whole thing off in one meal. Disgraceful really, but we only had one small bowl of soup first, honest.

                    Lunch: leftover soup from yesterday.
Supper: toad-in-the-hole plus veg of some variety.

Madaleine mix in the fridge. Will keep us going for a few days.
Plus, put a load of black-eyed beans on to soak. Best before date: 2013. Found them while tidying out yesterday. It's a waste not, want not kind of time. Will leave them to soak a bit longer than normal and hope for the best.

                    • I was trying to decide between prawn curry or pasta bake. Eventually I've settled on pasta bake with extra for the freezer and a couple of portions to give to elderly friends tomorrow. Probably with garlic bread.
Victoria sponge filled with strawberry jam (opened last jar of last years').

                              • Chicken curry made from scratch with basmati rice.
