  • Parsnips

I’ve just dug up the last of the Parsnips, there are too many to use fairly quickly so any ideas as to what I can do with them.

    Thanks

Yup. Parsnip and maple syrup cake. I've made three this year.

I've just chopped mine into roastable pieces and frozen raw. They roast fine from the freezer and are great for just adding to a classic pan with a joint & spuds or roast veg. Boring but practical!!

Oooh that sounds amazing! I will save that recipe - I have loads of parsnips in the fridge!

PP, that's not boring... I love roast parsnips And actually, I am guessing you can use frozen parsnips for that cake too!

I like the sound of those, bookmarking the page thanks.

Soups are always handy to have in the freezer, how about parsnip and apple or curried parsnip.

Another vote for soup. And curried parsnip in particular!
