Huckleberries

hi, I grew half a dozen huckleberry bushes this year just to see what they would grow like and now have about five lbs of huckleberries. Anybody know what I can do with them.

I'm pretty sure they can be used in most recipes requiring blueberries, so I'm thinking pies, muffins etc for a start.

Hello there Sandy- and welcome to the Vine!!!!

I grew huckleberries about 4 years ago and they germinated well and produced loads of fruit, but mine were really sour and bitter and we had to throw them all away!!
Well done on your crop- I'm really jealous!!
