    I've grown 'Hot Jalapeno' variety this year, they are fairly hot, but I pickled them already.

    I might re-pickle them with the carrots, onions and spices so they go further for this year's C*****mas hampers.

      Anyone know how you can preserve jalapenos so they are still crunchy? I like jal rings with chillis etc but i prefer them 'fresh' as in, still having a bite to them. I find pickle quite soft whenever i have it...
